Regional Market Access Manager, Italy

The Regional Market Access manager (RMA) is responsible for local and regional market access. The RMA manager is required to analyze access and reimbursement issues and act as the reimbursement expert/problem solver for national leadership, including development and implementation of innovative access projects. The RMA manager will also need to coordinate cross functionally with Market Access Lead Italy and Medical Lead Italy.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Stakeholder management:
    • Identify key influencers at regional and local levels, and build influence maps;
    • Build and manage the relationships with
      • Chairmen of the regional health and social policies, regional councilors ,other regional key decision makers;
      • Commission members for formulary listing, guidelines and PTO/ PTOR definition;
      • with relevant stakeholders at local and account level (including Regional directors of health, pharmaceutical services, social policies Directors of Pharmacies, hospital administration, etc.)
  • Innovation:
    • Maintain innovative approach to stakeholder engagement dynamics, and being able to articulate company’s innovative projects to all stakeholders involved;
    • Provide critical review at all steps of the company’s innovative projects, and actively participate in materials review;
    • Actively engage Regional and local stakeholders in innovative project’s pilot, and ensure their interest and participation;
    • Actively implement innovative projects by replicating the pilots with other Regions, incl. becoming independent in quantification tools use and other materials developed for innovative project’s roll-out;
  • Team work
    • Ensure alignment and mutual sharing of objectives and actions at national level with all company roles involved (Access Lead, Medical Lead and GM);
    • Execute on the strategic and tactical Market Access plan, in teamwork with other internal stakeholders (Access Lead, Medical Lead and GM);
    • Support meeting organization with clinicians, payers and pharmacists on Market Access related topics;
  • Regional/local:
    • Facilitate and support interactions between Regional stakeholders and Centers of Excellence;
    • Establish and maintain relationships with Regional Therapeutic and Appropriate Use Commissions;
    • Effectively communicates the value of bbb’s products to key decision makers, by adapting the National Value Story and the Pharmaco-Economics models to the Regional and local stakeholders;
    • Manage the regional / local HTA and analyze and manage the regional access dynamics in the PTOR;
    • Support and ensure the development of documents for granting formulary listing product inclusion at regional and account level;
    • Promptly gather regional / local information and healthcare regulations in the areas of the pertinent therapeutic area, identifying any opportunities and critical issues;
    • Proactively organize Regional Roundtables to discuss future Regional/ Local Healthcare policies development and address critical issues related to bbb’s products;


Key Requirements:

  • University Degree or equivalent (in Science, Commercial, Medical, etc.)
  • Significant experience in Specialty Pharma/Rare diseases Sales or National Accounts and Bids procedures and requirements
